The first is a succulent planter box, which I've been wanting to make for some time. I think it turned out quite nice.
The second is a strawberry rhubarb pie. Both strawberries and rhubarb are now in season at the Farmer's Markets here in Seattle, so I'm taking full advantage - this is my second baking of this pie so far this spring. I've been using the Williams-Sonoma recipe, and I like it a lot. It tastes better than most I've tried, I think because it uses half tapioca and half corn starch for the thickener.
