Box Cushions

My mom and I took a class at Pacific Fabrics the other day where we learned how to make box cushions. They're relatively easy once you get the hang of it. I think it turned out fairly well for my first project.

One thing I learned is that foam is extremely expensive, which is probably a good thing since it's not very environmentally friendly. We're going to take a chair upholstering class as well, so I hope to find some "green" supplies for that project. But first, I have to find the chair I want to recover!

Letterpress Valentines

I took a letterpress printing class at Oblation Papers and Press in Portland, Oregon last year. These are some of my favorite Valentines that I made there. Oblation has classess occasionally and sells wonderful paper and related products. We got our wedding invitations made there as well.
